Betting Analysis

In the last few seasons this has been the Peyton Manning vs. Tom Brady show, but with Manning out with an injury that changes everything. However, Manning has not looked great this season and the reason the Broncos are winning is their defense, which is the top-ranked unit in the league.

Brock Osweiler will get the start under center for the Broncos and he has a solid WR corps and will be facing a New England pass defense that ranks 19th in the league. The Pats’ pass D has been up and down this season, but it helps to have a good pass rush led by Chandler Jones, who ranks 3rd in the NFL in sacks.

Ronnie Hillman rushed for over 100 yards in the win over the Bears and he will be leaned on big time in this game and faces a solid Patriots’ run D that ranks 2nd in the league.

Tom Brady is having another great season and he has no lack of targets. He has his his work cut out for him against the stout Denver D, but they are without pass-rusher DeMarcus Ware, who is out for this game and leads the team in sacks. That loss is a big one.

The Pats have not had a f=great rushing offense on the season, but LeGarrette Blount is solid even though he has averaged 3.5 yards per game in each of his last 2 games.

Bus Man’s Pick: No Manning no chance for the Broncos, as even though their D is legit Brady will still have a good game and the Pats will stay perfect on the season with a win and they will also cover the spread.
