Predators vs Lightning Pick: Saturday, January 30th

Predators vs Lightning Pick: Saturday, January 30th: The Predators were very fortunate to get wins on back to back nights Tuesday and Wednesday at home over the lowly Blackhawks. They won the first 3-2 in overtime and the second 2-1 in a shootout. This is not a good hockey team. Their power play is atrocious Ryan Johansen never became the elite center that was expected of him. The Corsi ratings of their forwards are bad. Luke Kunin and Mikael Granlund are not top 6 forwards. Matt Duchene doesn’t care, and this is a Predators team that should get lit up and smoked by the Lightning.

What a perfect time to back this Lightning squad. They are coming off their first 2 losses of the year and now get to come home and get right. This is a deep squad that can handle the loss of Kucherov a top 5 scorer in the league and still fight for the Cup. The Stamkos, Point, Palat line will get hot. The Cirelli, Killorn, Johnson line is a strong enough 2nd line. I love backing them off 2 straight losses. We’re getting a great number on the -1 line. This is the best bet on the card.
