Betting Analysis

The Steelers suffered a big upset loss to the Baltimore Ravens last week and now they do not control their own playoff destiny. They need to beta the Browns and have the Buffalo Bills beat the New York Jets in order to snag the last AFC Wild Card berth.

This game may be the last audition for Johnny Manziel, who has been up and down this season and while he has shown flashes of solid play his off-the-field issues are troubling. However, he did rush for over 100 yards in the loss to the Chiefs last week and in the first match up with the Steelers, which the Brows were crushed 30-9, he passed for 372 yards.

The Browns had a solid rushing game in the loss to Kansas City with Manziel’s 100+ yards and Isaiah Crowell rushing for 88 yards and a TD.

Pittsburgh only ranks 30th in the league defending the pass, but a legit 6th defending the run.

Ben Roethlisberger had been playing great, but did not have a good game in the upset loss to the Ravens and main WR Antonio Brown only had 61 receving yards. However, these 2 had big games in the earlier win over the Browns, who rank 19th in the league in pass defense.

While the Steelers lost last week RB DeAngelo Williams rushed for 100 yards and had 53 receiving yards. While he only had 54 rushing yards in the earlier blowout win over the Browns he will be facing a Cleveland run defense, which ranks dead last in the league.

Bus Man’s Pick: I have to go with the Steelers in this one, as they will dominate the Browns on both sides of the ball. They will not only win, but win big and cover the spread and then hope that Buffalo can beat New York.
